The Edinburgh Hideaway That Feels Like a Private Members’ Club
Set in a Georgian townhouse, the hotel feels more like a private members’ club than a hotel. In part, that’s due to its size - there are just 29 rooms and suites. In part, it’s due to the fact that it’s a residential hotel: The bar, restaurant, and other facilities are open only to hotel guests. But in large part, it’s due to the graceful attentiveness of the staff. The service is impeccable but not pretentious - everything feels utterly seamless.

But whatever else you do, don’t miss the chance to do a whisky tasting in the Ghillies’ Pantry back at the hotel; it’s an extraordinary opportunity to sample some of the hotel’s 187 single malts and learn more about the history and art of distilling this beloved spirit.

Aspire Travel Club
As a resident-only hotel with such few rooms, 100 Princes Street feels boutique and the service is personalised. We are always greeted by name, our dietary requirements catered for without us having to ask and nothing is too much trouble.
