Back in February this year we announced our exciting new partnership with No Uniform, a celebrated uniform designer that specialise in creating bespoke uniforms for high-end hospitality businesses. Having added 100 Princes Street to their portfolio, we are delighted to share the final uniform designs as the opening date for our newest property comes ever closer – anticipated for April 2024.
Paying tribute to the culturally rich history of our location is fundamental to our vision at 100 Princes Street. It manifests in the quintessentially Scottish design of our hotel, the bespoke furniture created for it by local artisans, as well as the recall to influential Scottish explorers that will decorate our hallways. And now, with the exceptional designs of our uniform complete, so too will it manifest in the attire adorned by our talented team.
With three-piece suits and pencil dresses, the uniforms of 100 Princes Street are an emblem of sophistication that complement the character of the hotel. Cravat’s worn by the male members of our team and the neck scarves worn by the women highlight this, whilst the tartan fabric displaying traditional Scottish colours carries the strong sense of place that is so prominent across all Red Carnation Hotels.
As well as boasting stylish design, the uniforms of 100 Princes Street will be as functional as they are fashionable. Priding ourselves on a "whatever, whenever" approach to both service and guest experiences, supported by our 2:1 staff ratio, it is vital that our teams can continue to offer the exceptional service that characterises the Red Carnation brand whilst representing it through their dress. No Uniform have enabled us to fulfil this feat.
Whether you are anticipating your visit to be in the first few months of our opening or later on, we look forward to greeting you in this exciting new attire. Through its quintessentially Scottish design, 100 Princes Street will be your home away from home that transports you to a charming new world, and we cannot wait for you to cherish it as much as we do.
Directly facing the city’s famous castle, the careful and lovingly executed renovation and rebirth of 100 Princess Street is eagerly awaited.
