Archibald Signature Suite
The largest suite in the hotel is named after the courageous Scottish explorer, naval officer, surgeon and botanist, Archibald Menzies, who spent many years at sea with the Royal Navy and was the first European to reach the summit of Hawaiian volcano, Mauna Loa. Expansive and high-ceilinged, these incredibly well-appointed open plan lodgings offer everything one could possibly want from a luxury city centre base, complete with huge floor-to-ceiling windows to the front of the hotel offering spectacular views of Edinburgh Castle, and a lounge area with feature fireplace. The sumptuous, marble-lined bathroom features a deep-soaking tub and a walk-in rain shower, and there is a separate toilet for visiting guests. We are delighted to offer every guest a complimentary welcome glass of champagne upon arrival at 100 Princes Street.
